We founded SBO Financial in 2015 to change what business accounting could be.
Most founders have an accountant they work with, but that relationship is usually oriented solely around taxes – income tax returns, BAS, FBT, you get the idea.
There’s no denying that’s all very important, but we found there was a gap we could fill.
Medium and large businesses are usually engaged with more than one accountant. They don’t just focus on tax – they have a team of accountants to help them organise their finances, analyse profit margins, forecast cash flow and support project growth.
We found these roles didn’t exist for smaller and high-growth businesses.
And that’s why we started SBO.
